CEO & Head Photographer
Kyran John is a photographer and CEO of Foreign Kollect Photography from Brooklyn New York, who focuses on Food and Product Photography.
I am a husband, a father to a beautiful baby girl and a lover of all things music as I have grown up playing piano and producing for over 15 years.
It all began while studying for my bachelor’s in Psychology, my core classes were close to being done and I decided to take some more interesting classes such as the history of photography. From there I fell in love with the process of photography and the many genres within the field but one stuck out, still life. I began to experiment with shooting plenty of products and food around my house, and from there the rest was history. This led me down a path of discovering a deep love for making food and products look great.
I have worked with well over 100+ restaurants within the New York and New Jersey area helping shoot for menu, advertising, and editorial use. I have also worked with food related companies such as Uber Eats, Doordash, Popmenu, Woodspoon, just to name a few.
